Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit our site! Our family has shown, raised and worked Siberian Huskies for over 16+ years. Through out that time we have strive to produce top quality dogs and puppies with superior temperament, excellent conformation and sound health. Plus pedigree as the cherry on top!
We are exhibitors and fanciers of this wonderful breed, that we very much enjoy spending our extra time doing therapy at nursing homes, packing, hiking, biking, sledding and show, all the while in the company of our beloved dogs. We have all our dogs OFA health tested and have started to include DNA testing with PawGenetics.

Joining our growing family in 2018 we added a German Shepherd , "Rager" who has done very well with his limited showing! In 2020 we are proud to include a female puppy by Rager along with an outside female! But the new additions don't stop there! We went back to our beloved little dog breed, the mini dachshund! We only have a pair but thrilled to do field trials with them!
We are also proud members of the MPBA, The Cavalry Group, Alaskan Klee Kai Assoc. of America( AKKAOA),PPB, Show-Me Kennel Club and 1st Quality Pet Breeders! We are also enrolled in the ACA Star breeder program , along with the Elite Kennel Program with MPBA. (http://www.mpbaonline.org/elite-kennels/ ) and getting the Excellent Rating with GoodDog with all three breeds!
We are cozily nestled in the northern of Missouri. We live on a small hobby farm and are surrounded by farm land! Therefore our dogs and puppies are able to run and play freely, with out any worry!

We welcome our puppies to show homes or pet homes! We do realize that there are many families out there just looking for that amazing companion with no intentions of showing or breeding. . We are always willing to help you and would love to assist you in making your new Rys N Hy puppy a champion, even if he/she is just that perfect pet!

Why do our Siberians look the way they do,
, Simple, the superior pedigrees and selective breeding over the course of a hundred years.Here at Rys N Hy, we continue to be very selective of the dog it's self with a good pedigree backing that has specific traits we feel better the breed; temperament, grace, intelligence, structure, soundness, and drive.
We only breed to have well-rounded dogs not only in mind and body but as spirit as well. They are from Old Lines that have now days been all but lost in a new forever changing world. You'll see they appear to be "small" Siberian huskies but really they are to breed standard (AKC&SHCA). They are highly intelligent huskies that are calm, easy to train and still have the drive to work.

How are our Puppies raised and How does that make them different?
Here at Rys N Hy take our responsibility seriously:To provide you the perfect puppy, uniquely Rys N Hy, from one of our carefully planned breedings.
All puppies are born and raised in our home NOT in a dog house or barn!! We have a room in our home set up just for new moms and their puppies.
Puppies at Rys N Hy receive early handling protocols and are temperament tested. With these protocols will follow up with “Early Neurological Stimulation”.
Early neurological stimulation is used in order to give the puppy a superior advantage. Its development utilized six exercises which were designed to stimulate the neurological system. Each workout involved handling puppies once each day. The workouts required handling them one at a time while performing a series of five exercises. Listed in order of preference the handler starts with one pup and stimulates it using each of the five exercises. The handler completes the series from beginning to end before starting with the next pup. The handling of each pup once per day involves the following exercises:
o Tactical stimulation (between toes)
o Head held erecto Head pointed down
o Supine position
o Thermal stimulation.
“These five exercises will produce neurological stimulations, none of which naturally occur during this early period of life. These exercises impact the neurological system by kicking it into action earlier than would be normally expected. The result being an increased capacity that later will help to make the difference in its performance. Those who play with their pups and routinely handle them should continue to do so because the neurological exercises are not substitutions for routine handling, play socialization or bonding. “ - Dr. Carmen Battaglia

Not only has it been scientifically proven that tameness is an inherited trait, but we have witnessed it first-hand over the years. Because we of our very selective breeding program, allowing only the absolute smartest individuals that also have all the other traits we want, from each litter to be allowed to reproduce. This selection has kept the Rys N Hy line in a constant state of evolution as far as trainability concerns. Using this method, only the most obedient and versatile specimens are left to be an influence on the next generation of puppies.

While it may seem hard for some people to wrap their mind around our pack here at Rys N Hy Siberians, being that much different from other Siberian Huskies, we ask you to educate yourself on the breed as a whole, so that you can understand that our dogs have been raised differently from other Siberian Huskies for generations.
